South Tees has launched a new Hydration Station scheme, making it easier for residents and visitors to refill their water bottles for free and stay hydrated while out and about! With Hydration Stations across Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland, you can easily refill your bottle with drinking water while helping to reduce plastic waste.
How to find a Hydration Station:
Look out for the Hydration Station window sticker displayed at participating venues. Go on the Public Health South Tees Website to find nearby Hydration Stations. Healthy Communities in South Tees — Public Health South Tees
Drinking enough water is important for good health. It can help to:
Improve focus and concentration
Support physical and mental wellbeing
Help the body stay at a healthy temperature
Some people may be more affected by dehydration than others, including:
Older people and children
People with long-term health conditions
People who may be struggling with money
People who spend a lot of time outdoors or travelling around the area
Bring your reusable water bottle and fill it up for free at local Hydration Stations instead of buying bottled drinks. It’s an easy way to stay hydrated, save money and reduce plastic waste!
