Teesside University eye clinic is offering free, non-NHS comprehensive eye examinations and optical prescribing.

They also offer a contact lens clinic, providing services such initial fittings, trials, and aftercare appointments.

If you have any NHS exemptions or are entitled to an NHS voucher for the cost of glasses, this cannot be issued as eye tests are offered on a private basis only.

The clinic is based on the university campus. The first appointment takes 2 hours and will be conducted by a final year optometry student under supervision from a qualified and registered optometrist.
